Every motor, every metre of tray, every hour on site. One system.
Crews tick and clock on their phones. The office plans and pays from the same numbers. The client gets a dated report and a signed certificate pack.

One percentage you can plan from
Every item on the job carries a checklist. Each tick is weighted by your estimator's rate sheet, so the percentage is earned effort, not a feeling.
- Motors, field equipment, cable trays and panels, each with its own tab
- The same number on the dashboard, the report, the export and the API
- Expected finish in working days, against your target date
- Daily progress per technician: motors done, metres installed

Built for the person in the plant
The site manager opens the app on his phone and sees his areas, his crew and his runs. He ticks what was done today and the office sees it at once.
- Scan the QR label on a motor to open its checklist
- Cable lengths entered as installed, with the required length beside it
- Photos and site notes that can print on the client report
- Change requests with a picked reason, applied by the office

A card tap at the gate, even with no signal
A shared phone at the gate reads each person's NFC card. GPS confirms which site they are on. No signal? The tap waits on the phone and is sent in order later.
- NFC cards, about R15 each, on any Android phone
- Geofence matching to job sites and workshops, flagged honestly
- Shift end closes the paid day; overtime needs a fresh clock-in
- Trusted devices only: a kiosk must be activated by the office

Hours you can pay from
Clock Events shows every person's day as a bar: when they arrived, when the shift ended, and any overtime with its approval. Odd punches land in Needs review with a plain reason.
- Shifts per job or team; the paid day stops at shift end
- Overtime approvals with a reason and a decision trail
- Needs review for early taps, missed outs and off-site punches
- Void and fix: a wrong punch is cancelled, never edited

Who is where, and who is next
Team Manager holds the crews, the site managers and the plan. Lend a person to another job for a day and the hours land on the right job.
- Named crews with a site manager and assignment history
- Next job: schedule a team's move and it flips on the day
- Callouts planned with their own shifts
- Vehicles: tracker trips matched to known sites

From the BOQ to a live job in an afternoon
The bill of quantities becomes motors and instruments with QR labels. The Revit containment report becomes the tray network, drawn as a site plan you can edit.
- Cable paths: which run feeds which motor, back to the MCC
- Metres installed per main run and drop
- Add equipment and runs on site, with the reason logged
- Re-import updates in place and keeps the history

Certificates ready when the client asks
Test certificates are filled from your QC workbooks, completed by the people who did the work, signed on a phone, then locked. One PDF pack per job.
- Motor, feeder, panel and PLC / RIO certificates
- N/A per row for parts the equipment does not have
- Locked after sign-off, with the date on the PDF
- Calibrated instruments with expiry warnings 60 days out

A dated PDF in your house style, generated from the live job in seconds. The same numbers go to Excel for the people who want to work them.
- S-curve of earned progress against plan

Close the month with nothing left open
Payroll sees what still blocks the pay cycle, clears it, then exports the timesheet workbooks. A closed month stays closed.
- Blockers: open punches, waiting overtime, unreviewed flags
- Timesheet workbooks per person, site and workshop
- Leave and sick notes recorded and approved
- Month locks: closed months never change
| Overtime waiting for approval | 2 |
| Punches needing review | 1 |
| Open clock-ins | 0 |
| Declined overtime, not paid | 4.5 h |

How a job runs
From award to hand-over. The office does the first and the last; the site does the middle.
Import
The BOQ and the Revit report become equipment and tray runs with QR labels.
Plan
Teams, site managers, shifts and site fences are set. Cards are issued.
Work
Crews clock at the gate and tick on their phones.
Check
The office reviews punches, approves overtime and closes the month.
Hand over
The client gets the report, the certificate pack and the attendance record.
When it opens to new contractors
InstallTracker opens to other contractors in the next year or two. This is how a rollout will work: one job first, next to how you work today.
The first four weeks of a rollout
- Send your BOQ and site coordinates. We import the job and set the fences.
- A phone at the gate and NFC cards for the crew. Clocking starts the next morning.
- Site managers get the app and a thirty-minute walk-through.
- The first client report and payroll run come from the system, beside your current process.
What you need
- A Windows or Linux server, or we host it for you
- Android phones for the gate and site managers. Old ones are fine.
- NFC cards, about R15 each
- Your estimator's rate sheet and your logo
Book a preview
